Awesome image isn’t!
That blue whale is soooooo big and that diver is sooooo small in comparison!
The size and power of that blue whale is huge. It needs no breathing apparatus to swim the ocean deeps, unlike the diver with his oxogen tank and flippers. But as awesome and wonderful as that blue whale is, it is the man, it is you and me, that are made in the image and likeness of the creator.
The evil one (the one who will one day dwell in a lake of fire) would like to get you to forget the greatness of what it means to made in the image and likeness of God. He would like to get you instead to see yourself as small in relationship to the bigness of the challenges in your life. Red Sea Rule #3 is a great thing to keep in mind. The battles of our lives are the the Lord’s. Don’t rebel against the Lord. Do not fear. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
