Spiritual Blindness is not Just a Non-Believing Problem

John Piper is a hero not because he is always right, or without flaw but because he, in his redeemed heart, is one of the most passionate hearts I know of running hard after God. I want to be passionate about pursuing God. Even in my present sickness and low energy due to many travels, sleepless nights, a bad common cold, causing my body to ache and my throat to spasm in rough loud coughs—even in all this, my heart yearns to know God better because of exposure to men like John Piper.

So when I heard Dr. Piper say that “Sin blinds you to the beauty of God,” my heart cried out, “Yes Lord, it is true. Take my blinders off so I can see Your beauty.”

May this short audio clip help you as it helped me.

      1. Marty, thank you so much for praying for me. That touched my heart. I will be praying for you as well. I am listening again today. God bless you.
