A Sabbath Week of Praise — Friday

Big and small, round and flat

A Morning Praise of the King of King

“We rise this morning with joy.
We rise this morning with hope.
We rise this morning with purpose.
We rise this morning knowing that Your words are pure.
We rise this morning knowing that You will guard us and keep us.

We praise You because our salvation is secured
by nothing less than You.

And we prasie You because you will walk with us
with every step we take today.”

A Mid-Day Praise for the King of Kings

“You are He who defends the cause of the poor.
You listen to the prayers of the needy.
The poor and the helpless, You do not abandon,
for You take pity on the afflicted.

You are the One who will crush the oppressor,
for You will not let oppression and violence go unavenged.
Because You are a King;
You are a Sovereign;
You are a Ruler;
And You are all of these in perfection.
Therefore, we trust You and Praise You,
and glory in being Yours.”

cf. Psalm 72:4, 12-14; 102:12-15

An Evening Praise for the King of Kings

“You are our resting place forever and ever.
You are our refuge and trust.
So we praise You, O God.
And we remind our hearts again
that You are worthy of all our praise,
as we go to our rest this night.
