Sanctifying the Day–Reminding the Heart to Remember Glory
A Morning Call to Worship
“Remember how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity,
for there is a blessing that God commands for unity—
life forevermore.Remember and rejoice
and live your day with confidence and power.cf. Psalm 133:1-3
A Mid-Day Call to Revival
“Give us hearts to praise You with abandon.
Give us hands lifted up to You as we cry out for holiness.
Give us spirits that are tuned to Your Holy Spirit.
Do whatever You desire with us O God,
for we are Yours.
we are Your servants. We are asking you to drive out the idols of our hearts.
Don’t let us deceive ourselves any longer.
Help us to see the things that we hold in our hearts
that keep you distant
and that impoverish our spirits and weaken our lives.
Make us a glory for You.
For the sake of the Savior, we ask it.
Amen.”cf. Psalm 134:2, Ezekiel 14:1-11
An Evening Benediction Sanctifying the Night
“I will not enter my house
or get into my bed,
I will not give sleep to my eyes
or slumber to my eyelids,
until I find a place for the Lord
a dwelling place for God in my heart.May you settle your heart
in the knowledge that your God lives;
and that He watches over you
and will clothe your enemies with shame,
even as He prepares a place for you
that you might dwell with Him forever.”cf. Psalm 132:3-5, 18; John 14:1-6
