Sanctifying the Day
A Call to Worship
to Welcome the Day“The LORD gathers His people,
for He loves to hear their praises.
Those who are wise,
attend to His words
and consider the lovingkindness of their God.
And so that is what we will do.
We will praise Him,
and we will awaken our souls
with new melodies in our hearts,
as we give thanks to Him,
and welcome a new day with joy.”cf. Psalm 107:1-3; 108:1-3
A Mid-Day Prayer for Revival
“Lord, Your word says that You sent Your Spirit into the world to convict the world of sin, and righteousness, and judgment. Lord we need Your Spirit to do exactly that today.
Please Lord, convict us of sin.
Show us our blindness, our rebellion, our hardness of heart.
Helps us to see it for the filth that it is.
Give us hearts of repentance,
so that we would have new visions of Your righteousness.
Show us, by the ministry of Your Spirit at work within us,
that we need You
and make us a people who is holy,
like You.”cf. John 16:8; 1 Peter 1:16; Ephesians 3:20
An Evening Benediction to Sanctify the Night
“The God who is exalted above the heavens,
whose glory is over all the earth,
is your God and He carries salvation in his hands.
Therefore, let your soul be at peace.
Let your mind and spirit and body rest,
and may you rise in the morning
with new joys in the steadfast love of the LORD.”cf. Psalm 108:1, 5-6
