Merry Christmas 2021
Our son was born in California on December 10th. The next year we surprised mom and dad by flying cross-country and wrapping up one-year old Marty III in an afghan blanket my mother had crocheted and presenting him to them for the first time. It was a great surprise and brought great joy to us all.
God knew our hearts. He made them after all and he knows that unexpected gifts are some of the best gifts we ever receive. So on the first Christmas he gave us a surprise. A prophecy wrapped up in the body of an infant, a redeemer wrapped up in seven and half pounds or so. Who would have thought?
Only God, only our God.
