This is a follow-up to my two posts on why neither former President Trump nor present President Biden are suitable candidates for president.
Perhaps you have heard the story of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz summing up what the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion told her about their lacks.
“Now, let me get this straight,”
said Dorothy, pointing to each one in turn,
mmmm“no brains, no courage, and no heart.
Are all of you politicians?”
A chuckle certainly, but it is a sad one in 2024.
No matter who you vote for in November, no matter who strikes more fear in your heart as a candidate for President, Mr. Biden or Mr. Trump, I hope you cast your vote with tears in your eyes that the two major parties of our time thought that either of these two men was the best that the country had to offer for your very important vote. And I hope that before you vote, you will spend much time on your knees weeping that the nation you love is so unwise. While you are there on your knees, pray that the nation would turn back to righteousness and truth and most of all, to the Savior.
Update: Kamala Harris, IMHO, has not changed the needle. She too is a horrible candidate for President. Since Jesus is not on any ticket, we are always choosing the lesser of two evils, but our recent candidates are some of the worst in history.
