Do I Look Habitually to the Person and Work of Jesus Christ?

Thursday is for Discipleship

God speaks“The God of the Bible has spoken in His Son. The light of the knowledge of His glory is given to us in the face of Jesus Christ. Do I look habitually to the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ as showing me the final truth about the nature and the grace of God? Do I see all the purposes of God as centring upon Him?”

—J.I. Packer, Knowing God, 44.

Prayer

“Lord Jesus, train my heart to habitually, continually, joyfully, immediately, and completely look to Your face for all that I need to know for life and godliness. Make me and make our church family a community that is always running toward You so that we might live passionately for and like You.”
