“Jesus Christ, the most fully human person who ever lived, was not married.’

Monday is for Discussion

biblical masculinitySomething to inform the same-sex marriage debate:

“Jesus Christ, the most fully human person who ever lived, was not married.”

—John Piper, in Recovering Biblical Manhood & Womanhood, xvii.

Think about that.  If marriage is not necessary to be fully human, then marriage is not necessary for those with opposite or same-sex attraction to be be fulfilled and fully human.  This is great news for singles of all ages and all sexual attractions.
