Slave, we are either a slave to Christ or a slave to sin. A slave can not free himself he needs to be redeemed.

Slave in this respect defines the level of commitment to christ. while servanthood defines our willingness to serve others humbly and not being lords over God’s heritage. A Disciple is a slave (not as the world defines it) to Christ – committed to Christ and is also a servant to all. Doing God’s work requires a heart of a servant – humbleness.
