Bill Hull has Done it Again.
He’s written another book that chronicles his life-long journey into understanding the topic of discipleship. There is always more to learn. This book won’t say it all but it does represent the maturing of a lifetime of discovery into what it means to be a disciple.
Previous works by Bill have explored:
Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker
The Disciple-Making Pastor
The Disciple-Making Church
The Complete Book of Discipleship
among many others, now has written:
Christlike: The Pursuit of Uncomplicated Obedience
Over the next two weekends, I will be offering up a series of quotes from the book. But I also want to issue a challenge.
I dare anyone to read the first two pages of chapter 1 and not want to read the rest of the book as quickly and thoroughly as possible. In fact, I don’t think you can understand ANYTHING about discipleship and being a follower of Christ, and not want to devour this book for your own personal growth and development. Let me put that another way.

I downloaded to My Kindle for PC and read the 1st two pages. You are right, but it is 1145PM and I’ve got to get some sleep.
Thanks for the lead

Hope you got some good sleep last night and have a great day with the men at the prison today. My prayers are with you brother. May many find their way to the Savior and worship him in spirit and truth. I am going to be in Schenectedy doing a conference for the SBC at Mid American Baptist Seminary in early December. I would love to drive over and meet you face to face.
