We have been living in the “last hour” since the ascension of Christ. No one knows when Christ will  return. But this is sure, surer than your next breath, because your next breath is not promised, but the return of Christ is. The end of that last hour is closer than any time before. Will it be next week, next month, next year, next decade, next century, . . . no one but the Father knows.

Apostasy increases.
Violence increases.
Immorality increases.
Corruption increases.
Justice is perverted.

And the apostle John speaks to our moment, louder and louder every day.

1 John 2:18-19 (ESV)

¹⁸ Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. ¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

May we be a people who remain faithful to the end.
May we be a people who remain true to Christ.
