in the mess and heartache of life, He calls to us and gives us hope for a better future. But He does more than that.
Jesus instructs us
in the way we should go. He knows the way through every hard and difficult journey and so He shows us the path of a full and flourishing life. He brings us to every door of opportunity out of our sorrow and into joy. But He does more than that.
Jesus walks with us
to every hard place, to every painful, scary, emotion-filled, difficult and intimidating door, He walks with us as a good shepherd, and sometimes, He carries us to the door only we can walk through. But He does more than that.
Jesus comes with us
through the doorway, He comes with us. He doesn’t abandon us; He comes in and teaches and guides and helps us to navigate the new and unfamiliar surroundings of our redeemed and changing life. But He does more than that.
Jesus continues with us
up to and through the beyond our final earthly breath, He, our good good shepherd continues to accompany us as our true and always faithful companion who never turns His back on us. But He does more than all of this. And He always will.
