In February of 2014, I did a series on gossip based on my friend Matt Mitchel’s book. His book examined the topic in Scripture and was called one of the best books of 2014. It has since been translated into multiple languages and has proved invaluable to churches across the world. At the time I did my short series I said that I wished every church in America would read Matt’s book. This evening, I ran across a link to the first message in the series. Someone apparently found the link on Pinterest so I traced it back to youtube and grabbed the link and put it in this post. The link is below. My new situation as a new church planter doesn’t give me access to the camera’s and technology of the church in which the series was delivered. But now, thanks to the internet archives, here it is.
I don’t know if I will be able to get access to the other two messages in the series. But perhaps this short introduction will serve as an ecncouragment all my readers to pick up Matt’s book. It is still a book I wish every church in America would read. It would still be one of the best investments you could ever make in both your spiritual life and your testimony for Christ.
