Finding Glory in Mundane Places

Great quote I had to pass on:

I’m not sure where I was reading. Can’t remember if it was a commentary or The Institutes or a biography, but I love this quote from John Calvin. It is reminder to my soul that there is always more to see than my first glance gives. There is such a thing as glory.

“There is not one blade of grass,
there is no color in this world that is not intended to make us rejoice.”
—-John Calvin

Reminds me of Rich Mullins song, The Color Green.

Today, for much of the country east of the Mississippi, the forecast is cold and dreary. But look closely. Look for the hand of God. Look for glory in mundane places. And let your heart rise to Him in praise.
