A Morning Call to Worship
“Let us give thanks to the LORD with our whole heart.
Let us recount all of the wonderful deeds of God.
Let us remind our souls of how beautiful are His works.
Let us exalt Him; let us lift Him high.
Let us sing the praise of His name,
so that the nations will know His Name,
that His name, is Jesus,
and there is no other name under heaven
by which they may be saved.”cf. Psalm 9:1-2; Acts 4:12;
Malachi 1:6, 11, 14; 2:2, 5; 4:2A Mid-Day Call to Prayer
“Lord, we are tearing our country apart.
We are demonstrating the rot in the soul of America.
Evil responses to evil events are not transformed into righteousness.
We need You. We need to turn to You as a nation.
Instead, many in our nation are turning to violence,
others are instigating violence and destruction.Destruction and violence are before us;
strife and contention arise.
So the law is paralyzed,
and justice never goes forth.
For the wicked surround the righteous;
so justice goes forth perverted.So Lord, draw our hearts to You.
Make us to seek You with such passion
that Your Spirit delights to send revival to us
so that Your glory is seen
and peace and justice reigns in the nation.”cf. Habakkuk 1:3-4;
An Evening Benediction on the Day
“Take your refuge in the LORD.
for He is in His holy temple.
and His sovereign power is undiminished.
He is righteous, indeed He loves righteousness,
therefore take your rest
and know that when you rise
He will still be on His throne.”cf. Psalm 11:1-7
