Sanctifying the Day
A Morning Call to Worship
“We have so many reasons to love Him.
He hears our voices when we cry.
He inclines His Spirit to us.
He is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
And He is worthy this day of all our service.
So let us rise in joy;
let us serve with gladness;
let us delight in being His
and serve in His kingdom,
this day, all day, everyday.”cf. Psalm 116:1-6, 16
A Mid-Day Prayer for Revival
“Lord, You say that if we cherish sin in our heart
You will not hear our prayers.
Lord forgive us not only for cherishing the wrong things,
but for not caring that You have shut Your ears to our cries.
Forgive us Lord; forgive us.
Make us a people who longs for conversation with You.
Make us a people who hate sin so much in our own lives
that we become blind to others sin against us.
Incline Your Spirit to us once again.
Purify us so that we are so heavenly minded,
that we become some earthly good
in building Your Kingdom.”cf. Psalm 66:18
An Evening Benediction
“And now, may the Man of Sorrows
Who came to reclaim ruined sinners,
Who sealed our pardon with His blood,
And made a full atonement for such as us.Bless you from His throne this night,
and may He direct your heart into God’s faithfulness
and into the steadfast love of Christ.”cf. 2 Thessalonians 3:5
