Looking to Jesus for Transformation
“Lord, we want to be different. Not just because of this pandemic that the world is dealing with but because we have looked inside and found our hearts are not where we want them to be. More importantly, they aren’t where You want them to be. You don’t see as we do. You see from the inside out and see our heart before the facade we give to the world. O Lord, make us a people who are more interested in what You see, what You want, what Your plans are.
Bend us Lord. Search our hearts and reveal to us what we need to confess and draw out a confession that clears the path for Your Spirit to saturate our lives with You. That’s what we need. We need You and it’s only our sin that keeps us from experiencing more of You and Your power in our lives. So search us and revive us and transform us so that we might make disciples of the nations.”
