If you have been reading with the rest of the church since May, you have now read Matthew, Mark, Luke, James, 1 and 2 Peter and 107 psalms. Congratulations. And I hope it has been a big step forward for many of you as you have learned to carve out the time to read the word of God each day.
But the reality is that for many, this has not been an easy discipline. You have had fits and starts, and days when you missed, and other days you have struggled to catch up and other days where your reading has yielded more questions than answers, and other days when your reading has been a dry slog and made no immediately discernable difference in your life.
That’s normal.
