“We draw people to Christ not by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it.”
Madeleine L’Engle.
“O God, give me grace to be a light to the world. Give me joy in showing mercy and the humility that is appropriate for a sinner who has no righteousness apart from the righteousness of Christ imputed to me. In Jesus name and for His glory I ask it.”
I have come to believe that arguing what is right or wrong or winning a debate is not very useful. We as Christians should be loving and kind as Jesus is. We need to “love our enemies” as Jesus commanded. God has chosen to use us to tell others of the Gospel, he really needs no help from us to save sinners. God has spoken for himself on who He is and what he requires of mankind. What I think means nothing, what I believe and tell others about the truth of scripture is everything.
