Wednesday is for Prayer
“There are only three kinds of Christians when it comes to world missions: zealous goers, zealous senders, and the disobedient.”
—John Piper
Question:
I agree. Now how do we get the whole church on board with this reality?
Answer:
- Whatever answer we give, MUST start with prayer (Luke 10:2).
Very hesitant to disagree with John Piper, but I believe that you either a zealous discipler or you are disobedient. It is not going, it is not sending, it is making disciples AS WE GO,
And yes, our disciple making must begin with prayer and be carried out in prayer,

I think John would agree that a zealous discipler is in one of the first two categories.

It seems the church in America is in crisis and I’ve been prayerfully considering why. Then God brought a couple of sermons by Ray Comfort to my attention, and their message seems to explain a lot. It may add to this discussion as well. “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” and “True and False Conversions” can be listened to from http://www.livingwaters.com/ home page.
