First Post of 2015
The Good: I’m still alive.
The Bad: There is less sand in the hourglass of life.
The Good: I’m still married to Stephnie
The Bad: She’s still stuck with me.
The Good: I started the year with a workout on the treadmill and some lifting.
The Bad: Shin splint pain in my right leg.
The Good: My proposal for the Doctor of Ministry is in.
The Bad: The clock is ticking for a projected graduation in December 2016
The Good: The Phillies are making some trades.
The Bad: They still have a long way to go to be competitive again.
The Good: I love the staff, elders and congregation of Trinity Church.
The Bad: Thousands of people don’t know all that God is doing through them.
The Good: The kids and grandkids are all healthy and much loved.
The Bad: We don’t get to see them as much since we moved to Watseka, IL.
The Good: Gas is $1.98 in Watseka. $1.98!!
The Bad: Millions of people are still out of work.
The Good: No snow to shovel and stress my back.
The Bad: It’s freezing cold out side.
The Bad: I’m still a selfish, egotistical, impatient, lazy, disorganized man.
The Good: Jesus is still my wonderful and forgiving Savior.
