Jesus Isn’t Going to be Sneaky

Sunday Musings

Jesus is comingThe second coming of Christ is more sure than your next breath …

15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven
.           with a cry of command,
.           with the voice of an archangel, and
.           with the sound of the trumpet of God.
.           And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Preach it your heart.  Galvanize your soul with this truth. Proclaim it to everyone you know.  Jesus is coming again. And His coming will be loud.

It will not be a sneak attack.
It will not be stealthy.
It will not be obscure.

It will be obvious, exciting, loud, triumphant, and victorious. He is coming. We have been living in the last days since Jesus came the first time. The Old Testament said that God would send a redeemer and He did.

The New Testament says the Redeemer is coming again and He will.

Therefore, encourage one another with these words.  They are God’s word to strengthen your hope.
