- Is it okay to preach the Bible without preaching Christ?
- Is it possible to preach every text and get to the cross?
- Is it appropriate for the preacher to preach a non-Messianic OT text, preach it accurately in terms of its historical context, and never refer to Jesus?
- How often can you preach in a church and not get to the cross?

3. If you don’t plug it into the big story and show how it relates to God’s grand plan of redemption culminating in Jesus then you haven’t preached the historical context accurately.
