Just finished up a wonderful conference with the incredible folks at Trinity Church and its two campuses in Watseka and Ashkum, IL. What a great time and what a great idea.
This was their second year of doing a conference they call The One Conference. Taking their cue from Ephesians 4:4-6, the ministry and support staff, along with the elders of the church, work to put on a conference for all of the workers who are engaged in various ministries of the church.
Saturday was a great day to give all these workers an appreciative break, and to invest in their lives as fellow servants of the Living God. It was a chance to bless those who bless so many. i love these beautiful, local celebrations of the body of Christ that seek to impress no one but express the wonder and joy of working together to serve the Savior.
4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
