How to Kill a Pastor’s Heart

Tuesday is for Preaching

And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables.    —Acts 6:2 (ESV)

The death of a pastor’s heart is when his call to preach becomes administration of programs.

It will destroy your soul and wither your congregation’s depth if you don’t protect your time to study and be transformed by the word of God yourself so you can preach a transforming word for their need.

Protect your preaching priority. Train your elders and deacons to protect your time so that the people of God hear the word of God from a man of God.
