Receiving Sinners for the Glory of God

Monday is for Discussion

“Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawling near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, ‘This man receives sinners and eats with them.'” (Luke 15:1-2, ESV)

Questions:

  1. When was the last time you had a non-Christian into your home for a meal, a dessert, a cup of coffee?

  2. How are you “receiving” sinners in your life?

  3. When will the next time be?

  4. Would you let me know how your “next time” goes? (So that other readers can be encouraged.)

Let’s be about the business of living in such a way that those outside of Christ are drawn to us even though, they know that we are always talking about the Kingdom of God. Let’s live passionately for and like Jesus.
