One thought on “The Mission is Not to be Educators”
With regard to discipleship, we often get what we expect. I’m reminded of a chorus I learned in Kids Klub that begins: “The Bible stands though the hills may crumble, . . .” Later there’s a line that says, “By grace alone I expect to live it.” The key word there is “expect.” We are often satisfied when a person “prays a little prayer” and we really don’t expect their lives to change. Somehow I think we communicate that.
