One of those “you just had to be there” stories.
I can never forget my first glimpse under the whitewash,
but it was all covered by the blood and forgotten!
How unlike other “great leaders” who pretended purity
and when found out, denied — even when expelled.
To be a true Man of God is much like being an alcoholic —
There, but for the grace of God, go I!

1983. We met in July 1983, and I knew on our first date that the woman I would marry would have to have the character of Stephnie. By August I was telling her of my past and she didn’t run away. I am a fortunate man.
