Gospel Boot Camp Opportunities

On Friday I am going to start another countdown, the five blog posts I wish had captured more discussion in 2010. Today I am posting some information on a the Gospel Boot Camp by Dr. David Nicholas. David wrote me today and asked if I would put a plug in for the seminar–something I was happy to do.

David has scheduled five Gospel Boot Camps between now and June 1 and I’m asking you to encourage church planters and pastors you know to attend one of these boot camps. Please ask them to log on to www.gospelbootcamp.org and register.

All Boot Camps will be held at Boca Raton, Florida at David’s home except for one at the end of February which will be held at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI.  ( I will be assisting David with this one. )

  • February  21-22
  • February 28-March 1 at Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan (Full)
  • March 21-22
  • April 28-30 This one is in conjunction with the Global Outreach Conference at Spanish River Church.
  • May 23-24

You get more information at the registration link (see above). For my part, I want to give the strongest endorsement of what David is doing in these Boot Camps. If you are church planter, an evangelist, a pastor who wants to see the number of conversions leap upward from your normal, week to week exposition of the text, you will benefit immensely from Dr. Nicholas’ “clear, complete, logical and sequential” training.

One pastor reported that he had over 70 people come to know Christ after he began preaching the Bad News/Good News. Another pastor saw 40 people come to know Christ in three months in his startup church plant. These pastors are obviously attracting unbelievers to their services and God is at work raising the dead.

Don’t miss this opportunity. If you are planning on planting a church in the next 12 months, make sure you schedule one of these Boot Camps into your prenatal period for the church plant. You will not regret it.
