In Need of Prayer (aren’t we always?)

Wednesday is for Prayer

Busy day today.

At 10 am a Skype conference call with North American World Zone Leaders of Dynamic Church Planting International. We will be mapping out strategies and plans to resource and network with other church planting agencies to accelerate church planting in North America.

Following the Skype conference call and meeting, there is a board meeting for Hands of Love America. Hands of Love seeks to link American churches with third world churches in the dual mission of feeding the hungry body and soul, food and gospel. We partner with indigenous leaders and resource them to reach their neighbors with life preserving food and life giving gospel.

For both meetings would you pray for:

  1. Wisdom in our discussions.
  2. Humility in our hearts.
  3. Effectiveness in our actions, and most importantly,
  4. That God would have his way with us.

And then on a personal note, would you pray for me. I am really struggling to be effective with my time and finishing my next class in the D.Min. program. Pray that I would know the peace of Christ and that it would be coupled with a real zeal to finish what I started. Thanks.

  1. Update: Both meetings went well. One highlight, since the earthquake in Haiti, over 100 Haitian leaders have been trained as church planters. One group reports that 17 churches have been planted in one area with significant ministry to the displaced population. New churches are bringing hope, help and the gospel to a desperate situation.

    To God be the glory!
