Jesus picked a group to disciple, taught by word and example and then sent them out to repeat the process.
Can it be repeated today? Yes, even in prisons!
Consider this statement by Eugene Peterson in The Pastor, “[W]as a developing conviction that the most effective strategy for change, for revolution–at least on the large scale that the Kingdom of God involves–comes from a minority working from the margins.” pg. 16 And my boys are certainly on the margins of Christendom, but working for change within and without the prison systems.
