Preaching at The Springs, Springfield, MO October 25, 2026
Pastor has a family wedding out of state and texted me early this morning with the challenge. His assignment for me is Luke 8:1-15, the parable of the sower and the four soils. You would think that with coverage in all three synoptic gospels, you would think that most people would be very familiar with it. Nevertheless, the text is often abused by many preachers.
I would appreciate your prayers that the Holy Spirit would make my study personally life changing for me so that His will would be done through me on October 25. And pray that everyone in both services (9 and 10:30 AM), including me, would “have ears to hear,” (8:8).
If you know me, and live in MO, come and visit. Maybe we can go out for lunch after!

I will definitely be praying for you as you prepare and preach on October 25th, and I want to thank you for your own prayers for me as well.
I wish I could attend — I would really like to meet you and buy you lunch, but maybe someday we could make that happen, if that is possible.
