“Six Things the Church in America Must Understand”

  1. We are not as mature as we think we are.
  2. We are not as bold as we ought to be.
  3. We are not as prayerful as we once were.
  4. We aren’t as generous as we could be.
  5. We aren’t as focused as the needs of our age demand.
  6. We aren’t as deep as we need to be.

Would you pray for me as I think and pray and analyze and write? Specific things to pray?

  • that I would be wise
  • that I would be gracious
  • that I would be honest
  • that I would be challenging
  • that I would represent Jesus and the gospel well
  • that I would be effective and useful to God in moving my readers to examine their lives.
  • that I would honestly examine my life as well
