Fury at Jesus

It was three years ago and I was preaching through the book of Luke when chapter 6 arrived. The account of the man with the withered hand caught my attention in this post. I hope it is helpful to you who are Reading With the Pastor and today arrived at Luke 6 and Psalm 81.

Withered hands 1It was a Sabbath day like no other. Jesus and the Pharisees were about to go head to head over His healing ministry.

High drama on a Sabbath.

And compassion for a man in pain was the battlefield.

And he said to them, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
