Wednesday is for Prayer
The following post and link are from Seth Godin. He is talking about business and marketing leadership but he could easily have been talking about preaching the gospel.
The worst moments are your best opportunity
“That’s how we judge you and how we remember you.
You are presumed to be showing us your real self when you are on deadline, have a headache, are facing a customer service meltdown, haven’t had a good night’s sleep, are facing an ethical dilemma, are momentarily in power, are caught doing something when you thought no one else was looking, are irritable, have the opportunity to extract (sic) revenge, are losing a competition or are truly overwhelmed.
What a great opportunity to tell the story you’d like us to hear about you.” (Seth Godin)
“Father, may all the pressure points of our lives be opportunities to reveal your glory in us rather than the corruption that still resides within us. Make us salt and light to a world in need. Be exalted O God in every meditation of our heart, every utterance of our mouth and every action of our hands. For the sake of Christ who bought us by the price of his blood we ask it. Amen.”

Other people like to know we are human and have our “bad days” and problems just like everyone else. This is a good post. I echo your prayer.

Nice twist. Very encouraging. Thanks my brother Marty.
I pray along with you: For without You, Oh Savior of our souls we are lifeless and can do nothing.
