Ten things NOT to do in this moment:
- Don’t blame President Trump.
- Don’t blame President Biden.
- Don’t blame Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
- Don’t blame the Zionists around the world.
- Don’t blame the Palestinians.
- Don’t blame Hamas.
- Don’t blame Islam.
- Don’t blame Arabs.
- Don’t blame the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei.
- Don’t blame the media.
This moment and the next few days perhaps, is not the time to blame anyone. Tonight, the people of the region, people around the world, Israel in particular, need our prayers. Prayers for peace. Prayers for protection. Protection for children in Iran and Israel. Civilians in both nations. Non-combatants all around the world.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.
7 May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.”(Psalm 122:6-7, NIV)
Pray for American citizens in Israel and around the world as well. Our nation, as far as we know right now, has had no part in this attack on Iran. But we will be targets of Iranian supporters because we have stood by Israel. Pray for the protection and witness of believers all around the world. That Christians will be peace-makers and lovers of humanity for the glory of Christ.
