Choose Your Words Well

Yesterday, I had the opportunity for a 30-minute conversation with a neighbor about spiritual things. It impressed me again with the importance of crafting words well. Please pray for a neighbor who has not grasped the radical claims of Christ in the New Testament. He has a religious zeal that is not according to knowledge (Romans 10:2). The cult that holds his heart directs him away from rather than toward the risen Christ.

And remember J.B. Phillips words below, especially this Christmas season. Be careful with your words with both family and friends. Pray over what you say, and how you say it. Pray that God would help you to be wise with your words.
