Introducing One Servant to Another

Many years ago, a friend challenged me to examine “how the Apostle Paul introduces faithful servants to other faithful servants.” It was an intriguing thought and a good study and ever since, I have loved to recommend faithful leaders to one another in the hope of expanding the ministry of each and encouraging the hearts of both.

Today I had the wonderful privilege of introducing two powerful missional leaders from two organizations neither of them knew about before today. One has had 6 decades of faithful ministry for Christ all over the globe. The other is just getting started and yet is also being used to impact churches all over the 10/40 window.

[According to the Joshua Project: The 10/40 Window is home to the majority of the world’s unevangelized countries. The “unevangelized” are people who have a minimal knowledge of the gospel, but have no valid opportunity to respond to it. While it constitutes only one-third of earth’s total land area, nearly two-thirds of the world’s people reside in the 10/40 Window. The original 10/40 Window included only countries with at least 50% of their land mass within 10 and 40 degrees north latitude. The revised 10/40 Window removes several Christianized countries such as South Korea and the Philippines and includes several additional countries, such as Indonesia, that are close to 10 or 40 degrees north latitude and have high concentrations of unreached peoples. See the original and revised country lists. These lists include both sovereign states and non-sovereign dependencies.

5.37 billion individuals residing in 8,698 distinct people groups are in the 10/40 Window.  5,979 (68.7%) of these people groups are considered unreached and have a population of 3.33 billion. This means approximately 62% of the individuals in the 10/40 Window live in an unreached people group.]

Both of these men are impacting hundreds of thousands of INDIGENOUS LEADERS in the 10/40 Window!

  1. Pray for their growth in the grace and knowledge of Christ.
  2. Pray for the leaders they are training—many of them in countries where Christians are persecuted.
  3. Pray for their families who are both experiencing significant spiritual attack.
  4. Pray for their health. One has had debilitating back pain for decades, but they continue a grueling ministry and travel schedule in service of the King.
  5. Pray for their financial support, both being tested right now.
  6. Pray that their efforts would produce an eternal weight of glory for the King of kings.

By the way, if you would like to know more about how you can support either of these men and their ministries, contact me and I will pass on their information to you. Since they work with many who are in persecuted countries, I have kept this post deliberately vague. These are good men doing great work.
