William Borden of Yale

A friend from a former church reminded me of a message from over twenty years ago of the life of William Borden. What an inspiring life. Borden died at 25, but O how much life he packed into those twenty five years! Maybe you don’t have time to read his biography but even the wikipedia article will inspire your heart to live more passionately for Christ. It’s a short read, maybe 5 minutes, but well worth your time.

Here’s just one sentence from the wikipedia article:

One well-traveled English visitor, when asked what had most impressed him about America, is said to have replied, “The sight of that young millionaire kneeling with his arm around a ‘bum’ in the Yale Hope Mission.[9]

Here’s the link to wikipedia.

An investment in any of the many biographies is one you will not regret.
