Living for Others

Tuesday is for Thinking

John Piper face shot“Christ died for us so that we would not have to die for sin, not so that we would not have to die for others.”

Let the Nations Be Glad,
John Piper, 77.

Christian, pour your life out in service of your neighbors. Don’t be afraid or shirk your responsibility to live sacrificially for others.

It is the reason Christ died for, purchased you, and is coming back for you. He wants us to serve the world for his glory. And the overflow of living that way is the joy he pours into our lives.
