The Key to Endurance

Thursday is for Discipleship

“I want you to know brothers, that what has happened to me has really served
to advance the gospel,”
Philippians 1:12 ESV

Disciples don’t live for their comfort. They don’t live for acclaim. They don’t live for money, or power, or prestige.

They live for the advance of the gospel and that makes everything, big and small, endurable. When our hearts are dominated by a larger vision and purpose, we are freed from the perspective of difficulties being intrusions and interruptions. Instead, all events become opportunities to “advance the gospel.”

Let’s live for the advance of the gospel. It will change everything.
