Church Planter: Here’s what I know about you …
- You want to change the world.
- You want to serve Jesus.
- You want to see his name exalted.
- You want to see the lost get found.
- You want to see lives transformed from darkness to light.
I’m praying for you. I’m praying that the flame of your zeal for Christ would remain high, that your stamina for the work in front of you would not fail, that your commitment to living a credible life of faith and integrity would remain strong.
Here’s what you need to figure out:
- Do you love, really love, non-Christians?
- Are you willing to sacrifice for your non-Christian neighbors?
- Do you know how to share the gospel one-on-one?
- Have you ever led someone to faith in Christ?
- Do you understand that your job is to equip your people to be ambassadors of reconciliation?
If you don’t have good answers to these questions, here’s two suggestions:
—- begin to pray for what you lack
—- find a mentor to help you grow
