Our faith is rooted in history. The events of Easter Sunday are grounded in the rich evidential soil of fact.
How often do people think about or examine the roots of a tree? Not very often is my guess.
But the root of the faith are strong. Challenge your neighbors to examine the roots of the faith. Give them a book, a tape, CD, a DVD, an article, a magazine, a testimony, a conversation about the reality of the resurrection.
It might be one of the most exciting days of your life if you do. And it might depopulate a corner of hell if God gives the grace that leads to repentance.
