Discipleship: Not for the Half-hearted

Making Disciples 1 (Phone)Following Christ is not for the half-hearted but it is for all those who really want Him.

  • You have to read the whole Bible if you want to know what being a Christian really means.
  • You have to take the whole Bible seriously, not just those portions that are comfortable for you.
  • You have to desire his Kingdom and his righteousness more than your life (Matthew 6:33).
  • You have to treasure the Kingdom of God more than everything else in life that you might gain (Matthew 13:44-46).
  • You must remember to “not be surprised, brethern, if the world hates you” (1 John 3:13).
  • You must remember and you must obey the Lord’s word to “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44)
